The Legend Continues (1995-present)
1995: Congratulating Monica Seles after her 6-3 6-2 victory over Martina,
in the "Return of the Champions" exhibition in Atlatic City, NJ. This was Seles'
first match, since the stabbing in Hamburg in 1993.

US Open 1995: Martina returned to the US Open after a two-year gap,
and partnered Gabriela Sabatini in the womens doubles. They were
upset by Pam Shriver and Chanda Rubin in the second round.

Wimbledon 1996: Martina and Jonathan Stark were the defending mixed
doubles champions, but they were defeated in the quarterfinals
by Grant Connell and Lindsay Davenport 7-6 7-6.

Legends Tour 1997: Martina enjoys herself immensely on the
Legends Tour and led Team Navrátilová to victory in 1997 and 1998.

TeamTennis 1998: Martina has been a loyal supporter of TeamTennis
throughout her career. In 1998, she played for the Delaware Smash,
and they just missed making the playoffs.
